David “Oddsocks” Wanless is a danceoholic from Hobart, Tasmania and has called with scores of Tasmanian, interstate and international bands. He has called dances from Antarctica to France and Canada. He calls dances from many traditions including Balfolk, Klezmer, Contra, Irish, Scottish, E-ceilidh, Renaissance, traditional and contemporary Australian including bush dances, Regency, Southern US Squares and his own compositions.
